VoterIQ Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the VoterIQ mobile app and related services ("VoterIQ"), operated by SIIEA. By using VoterIQ you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. What VoterIQ is

VoterIQ is a free, nonpartisan civic information tool. It aggregates publicly available election, candidate, and registration information and provides an AI assistant to help you understand your ballot. It is an informational resource only.

Not official election guidance. VoterIQ is not affiliated with any government, election authority, political party, or campaign. Always confirm registration status, deadlines, polling locations, and ballot details with your official state or local election office before acting.

2. Accuracy and AI-generated content

Civic data comes from third-party sources and may be incomplete, outdated, or contain errors, particularly for local races. The AI ballot guide generates responses automatically and may be inaccurate. Do not rely solely on VoterIQ for decisions about registering or voting. We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information.

3. Nonpartisan use

VoterIQ presents information without endorsing any candidate, party, or position. You agree not to use the app to misrepresent it as endorsing any candidate or party.

4. Your account

Accounts are optional. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. You must provide a valid email and be old enough to use the app under applicable law.

5. Acceptable use

Don't misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service.
Don't scrape, overload, or reverse-engineer the service beyond what the law permits.
Don't use the service for unlawful purposes or to spread election misinformation.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

VoterIQ is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SIIEA will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any voting, registration, or civic decision made in reliance on the app. Always verify with official sources.

8. Changes and termination

We may update the app, these Terms, or discontinue features at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
